If you are planning to use pod air filters then rejetting will be required (a Dynojet kit is recommended in those instances.)The carbs were refurbished in the following way:- Carbs fully disassembled including unganging from the joining brackets- Hard parts soaked in carburetor dip followed by further cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner using aluminum safe solution- Carb bodies, float bowls, and the various bracketry were glass bead blasted to refresh the surface and remove corrosion- The steel hardware items were zinc plated w/yellow chromate to refresh the finish During reassembly all the various O-rings and the float bowl gaskets were replaced.
